In Queenstown the world capital of extreme sportpeople (or Nutters as i call them) This area is really quite beautiful but most of the activities happen out of town. Is soo expensive here, worse than back home. Soph keeps asking me if i want to do a Skydive. I say the same thing everytime why jump out of a perfectly good plane, if it was on fire then i would!!! We had to wake up early for our Cape Reinga tour, it was cloudly and damp but we didnt mind as we were travelling so far north that the weather would almost certainly change! In Paihia now and its brilliant!! Staying in a cool little hostel and the rooms are huge and new. We decided to hire a car and do the south coast area ourselves. Its was so much fun and better than the big green bus!! We visited Dunedin (home of rugby) first, i tried getting tickets to watch the Brumbies vs. super 12 but i couldnt. In the "city of sails" at the moment. Arrived in Auckland from Rotorau which really stinks so glad to be away from that place!! We went throught Matamata which was the Shire in LOTRs, Just expected lots of little people to be running around with hairy feet!
