Avoiding Death, Disease and Diarrhoea
The locals sang songs as we waded in to the crystal clear water to get into our boat which was a nice touch. Our smaller boat that took us to Kuata took a battering from the wind ad waves and i thought i might have to swim for it at one point.
That evening we all did the dancing games and other games involving partners apart form Soph and Alex again. O well James and I had a good crack at it again. Ended up on a beach somewhere with a roaring fire in the middle which was cool. I dont think i have ever seen the stars so bright that night!
Bloody mozzies, our mozzie net was to short so my feet stuck out and were attacked by the little b*****s all night. I wanted to go shark swimming today but it was to choppy for the boat to get to them. They were white tipped coral sharks and the odd tiger shark, yea!!
Alas our island adventure has come to an end and we left Kuata feeling rather exhausted. The Fijians on the islands seemed somehow more relaxed, hardly surprising for where they live and what they do. I will really miss all the local I met, i still cant get over the fact that they are all ways smiling and its just magical!!
