Have just been sitting catching up with your site, (after watching Spain dispose of Russia at Euro 2008) and think that I may be able to help with the medical problem you experienced this past week, Eric. Having had the shock of seeing you bare chested when we contacted you on Skype (glad the webcam only captured you from the waist up) may I suggest that your chest pains could be caused by an overly tight fitting bra which I can only presume you wear these days!!! Seriously though glad it was nothing more serious than muscle pain.
Have a nice day, and look forward to seeing you on Skype (Jessica is looking forward to performing).
Love
Steve

Have got so used to sending you e-mails we had forgotten about the message board. Sorry we missed your call although got your message on the answer machine. We were up in Montrose for neice Gillian's wedding. Full highland dress of course and a good time had by all in the Links Hotel. Thanks once again for feeding Andrew and Morven in Wellington. He headed to Nelson but the last call said they were going to Richmond which I think might be around Christchurch. Your NZ blog is going to came in very useful for us when we try to fit in the 16 day tour. Get in touch when you can.
Ron And Dot
Thanks for birthday good wishes.
Having a quiet celebration (family will be here in the afternoon) but we will make up for it next week when we are in Stresa.

Good morning Down Under from sunny Lower Kingswood!!
Chorley family here
A quick note to say Hi and wish you well. We're back from a trip to Cadbury World - Isabella's first exposure to chocolate - and on what a grand scale!! Then an overnight stop at Stratford-Upon-Avon...what a lovely little town, followed by some retail recovery therapy at Bicester Retail village - phew!!
Hannah loved the Cadbury factory. Its certainly been updated with rides and interactive activities since we last visited about 10 years ago! And as for the rumours about free chocolate - they're true! You get loads at various points on the tour.
The Christening plans continue for Issy - all booked now for 31st August. Issy is developing and geowing so quickly. She's now being weened on solids. Like Hannah, she seems to love her fruit and veg - lets hope thats a sign for the future!!
Julie's now negotiating her return to work. Thats come around so quickly. It looks like she'll be going back in January for 3 days a week like before.
In terms of the house, we've spent a bit of time tidyign up the front garden for the summer. Dug up the weeds and got noew plants in. It all looks lovely for the summer now. Gonna spend a bit of time on the back garden now.
Well thats about it from us now....We hope you're well and taking life easy....
Speak soon.
Love,
Rob, Julie, Hannah and Isabella.

Dear E and M,
Just a quickie on ths Sunday morning as am off to Gordon Ramsay's restaurant soon which is all very exciting. Though as he publicly detests vegetairians I could be going hungry...
Had a lovely long weekend in Padstow, Cornwall a few weeks ago for a friends wedding. Padstow was beautiful and possibly our new favourite place. Not a sunrise/set in sight though so no good for you....
Well, I've managed to overstretch myself again and I'm off to Peru in 4 weeks. A neutering trip with the same charity I went to Botswana with. Really looking forward to it as I love the hands on nursing stuff so much. Can't believe I'll be in S. America before you or we could have met up (because it's such a small place...).
Glad to hear you are still having a blast. Email coming soon (ish..- I don't want to be making rash promises. You know I'm not good at this).

Just in from the golf and am in a foul mood after losing two balls and playing a whole load of rubbish. I'm anxiously awaiting your return to this country to get a lesson.
Weather here remains sunny but chilly and it's taking its toll on the course which is looking like the face of the moon. Come to think of it, my face is like the face of the moon.
New Zealand looks really nice although obviously things are as expensive there as they are here.
Dot enjoyed her chat with you on Sunday and I'm sure you'll be back in touch soon.
Cheers the noo.

Hi E&M
Ok this is a short message to say HI while we were checking out the latest blogs and photos on the site.....it all continues to look brilliant. Needless to say though I have sent a more newsy meassge by email as I'm sure other people reading your messages don't want to know some of the inner most secrets that we like to share with you, such as where the loot's hidden, the code to our Swiss bank account and details of Jessica's piano lessons!
Bye for now and take care!

p.s. sending this has taken me some time as I am having a bit of trouble with the sum!

Hi Maggie & Eric,
We finally got our act together and retrieved your details from a lost corner of John's wallet. Ok ok, we met up with Jean on the weekend and got an update on you guys. The Kiwi half is saying "I told you so!!!" We'll be in Tauranga from 29th July to 7th Aug and in Auckland from 8th to 11th Aug. Would be nice to meet up if possible.
Our renovations are still progressing but the end is in sight. Love to tell you what adventures we had during the course of the building demolition works but apart from heaps of dust and rubble there's not much to laugh about. Anyhow we'll have to catch up on all your travels on the website and at least share your wonderful adventures with you. Can't wait till you get to South America.
Love, John & Deb

Hi Travelling Scottberries
It was great to hear your voices this morning, albeit in unusually hushed tones!!!
Have tracked down the Polly Jones book you are after ....Kiwis Might Fly. Will get it for you and post out to you asap.
Boogieing away to some old rockabilly songs on Radio 2. Its a programme about the revival of Rockabilly in the 70s. Good stuff from Dave Edmunds, Matchbox and Shakin Stevens. All great stuff and its hard not to sit on yer bahooky while the songs are playing.
Great to hear you are in good spirits and I will update you with Shawlands news in a later, more detailed email. Off to take in some live sounds in Glasgow.
Take care Jimx
