Welcome to Chile and glad to see that you have arrived safely.
After all the "boring "blogs of the past few weeks about going out for a curry and pizza (done that) packing for going on holiday (done that) and lost credit cards (CERTAINLY DONE THAT) it will be good to get back to proper travellers tales.
Enjoy the experience and keep the reports coming.
Love Pam and Jim. xx

Off tomorrow morning for a few days down in Devon at Padstow and then on to Otterton to see Gwen and Alan. Pam's knee is improving, but slowly, so we are keeping fingers crossed that we will be able to do some exploring.

Hiya. Got your message about Skype. We are still trying to get the webcam side of it working so we were glad that you have delayed the call as that gives us a bit more time to get it sorted. Keep us posted.
Rob has been off this week and we have been spending some time in the garden as well as taking hannah out for trips to Swimming, Tenpin bowling and the park etc.... Weather hasn't been so good so we haven't got as much done as we would have liked. Still its a start.
Rob is just about to leave for Manchester as he has an early meeting tomorrow morning. Lucky him. NOT!! Dont envy him the journey. Still I suppose its better to do the driving tonight than having to leave at 4am tomorrow.
Hannah is getting ready for the end of term at her preschool. She is so excited about starting school that I think it is going to be a long summer, having to tell her each day how much longer she has to wait!!
Izzy is grand.. She is growng so quickly. Her favourite game is blowing raspberries!!! We are gonna send some bits to you in the post. Hopefully in the next week or so. No idea how long it will take to get to you. Look out for it.
Anyway speak to you soon guys. Hope all is well?
Love

Dear E & M
How great it was to see you last week in beautiful New Zealand. Mainly it was just great to see how well you were both looking (give or take a night in the hospital!!) after 21 months on the road!! I loved catching up with stories of your adventures, I'm only sorry my visit was all too brief. Thank you so much for treating me to the delicious lunch and for the scenic drive. It would have been nice to have had a proper evening together, although it was good to see you both when we were all sober, that must be a first!!!! You are both great company and I am in total admiration for what you are doing. I hope to be able to catch up with you again before you set off for Chile.
Just for anyone else reading this, I would like to tell you that Eric and Margaret are as much fun as ever and looking great for their journey. I felt immediately at home in their company as I knew I would after more than 2 years since we last met. They seem to be thriving on the road and hardly smell at all!!! Ha ha!!!
You are FAB!! Enjoy the rest of your time in NZ. Lots of love to you both
