Remember us..? The two Dutchies you've met in Bukit Lawang?! Let's say Bintang Beer and conversasions ;-) ..?

Pity we didn't see you anymore in Tuk Tuk, but we've been looking out for you though! Where are/were you staying? We stayed at a very nice resort called Samosir Cottage. Do you find lake Toba as beautiful as we do?? We've enjoyed the 2,5 days that we had, big time!

We're in Jakarta at the moment, arrived by airplane last night. We're off to Yokjakarta tomorrow by train. We're gonna do some shopping there and then we're going to Bali, and hopefully we also make it to Lombok too.

Maybe we'll see you somewhere? Keep us posted!

Thanks for the text message from Malaysia telling me you had joined the Cameron Highlanders. Christine came up for a meal on Saturday and sends her regards.

Cant recall if I told you Dennis P's mum passed away in early December aged 92. Went up to Montrose for the funeral.

On a happier note Naomi got engaged on Christmas Day to Ali a lad she met down in Dumfries where she is working at the moment.

Anyway hope you are both well and enjoying your travels. Been atching the DVD of Ewen McGregor and his buddy going through Kazihkstan on their motorbikes. You should have taken me with you and I could have made a TV documentary about your travels, whuich would have been much more interesting. Did you hear from Bob and Teleia this Christmas?

Anyway all the best for 2008 and this January wont be the same without a visit from you Eric in your kilt and our usual tour of southside and west end Glasgow hostelries.

Got you text from the Cameron Highlands and sent a reply but was not very sober at thye time! Have sent your Manfred Mann CD to Tam's Australian address.

Our Andrew is now in Bangkok but has only been able to contact us thru Claire's Bebo so haven't got much news from him. If you and he are still e-mailing each other you might know more than his mum and dad.
