Having a couple of nights in, in luxury - so there! This was intended to be one of a few stops where we had a chance to consolidate our transition from Annie to rucksack - but it hasn't really worked that well. But our time at Byron Bay - in a beach side cabin - and here in Lennox Head - in a very nice beach side apartment - has been very enjoyable, and comfortable. Now that Annie has gone to other things, we have come back here again to climb Mt Warning. We managed it albeit in the rain and thick cloud. But we had a great time at the excellent Murwillumbah Youth Hostel where Tassie treated us proudly. We met some really nice people - ET and Dee Why from Malaysia (hope to see them there), Cor and Astrid from Holland), Louise from Worcestershire (but who went to school in Montrose!!), Ulirika from Germany as weel as others....

Back at Tam's before handing over Annie tomorrow. Hope it all goes well.
