Now that Annie has gone to other things, we have come back here again to climb Mt Warning. We managed it albeit in the rain and thick cloud. But we had a great time at the excellent Murwillumbah Youth Hostel where Tassie treated us proudly. We met some really nice people - ET and Dee Why from Malaysia (hope to see them there), Cor and Astrid from Holland), Louise from Worcestershire (but who went to school in Montrose!!), Ulirika from Germany as weel as others. Tassie runs a mini bus every other day to the foot of mt Warning - we were grateful for his lift when we returned drookit! He also supplies a nightly 'ice cap' of delicious icecream at 9pm which is an ice-breaker and a start to a good chat around the common room table.
