G'Day from Melbourne, Victoria. We took the Greyhound coach from Sydney to Melbourne which took 12 hours, and it was the last Greyhound coach we would take. Being overnight again we slept for most of it and it went really quickly. Also we had seats at the front which had extra leg room. Good for Scott! When we got to Melbourne we walked to our hotel. 30 minutes with a backpack uphill was a killer! We then went for a walk around the nearby shops and got our dinner from Coles. Today we set off in the morning to find the free tourist shuttle, struggling to find the bus stop a helpful Melbournee told us that there was a free tram that goes round the city and comes by every 10 mins. We got on the tram and then got off at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre. A huge building within a beautiful park, we walked through and behind this was the Melbourne Museum. It looked quite good and was only $10 so we went in. Not really being Museum people we thought the Museum was fantastic and spent a whole 2 hours there. We then got back onto the tram and got off at the main shopping mall. Restraining ourselves from spending a lot of money in Billabong! Tomorrow we are going to get back on the tram as there were a lot of places we didn't have time to get off and see.
