A full day in Firenze. A big breakfast in the dining room started our day. Then off to explore! An aimless walk found the wonderful Bargello Museum! Spent quite a bit of time walking through this magnificent building and looking at the statues, pottery, artifacts, etc. Amazing to see the actual serving dishes, jugs, etc used hundreds of years ago. Sculptures also magnificent. By then we needed food, with a restaurant just opposite. Celeste left her (fake - no glass) glasses there and the poor waiter sifted through the rubbish for her just to get it back - what a nice man. Off for another look at the Ponte Vecchio. By now it is very hot and we are all wilting a bit. Mario bought me a lovely charm bracelet with tea pots. Dinner at another recommended place - yummy! Delicious food. Luckily we are used to eating early (7pm!) because by 8pm it is very hard to get a seat at the nice restaurants.
