Woke up with what looked like more little blisters or itchy marks. Either an allergy, due to hot weather or perhaps bed bugs from Venice (!). A big breakfast at the hotel. Everyone was happy because they were able to go and get whatever suited them for breakfast. Then off exploring down the endless lanes. Have never seen so many shops before. Spent a leisurely last morning in Venice. Our train not until 1.00 so no rushing. Breakfast beside the canal. Watching the world float past. The girls fed the pigeons with their breakfast rolls. A walk into the Jewish ghetto. Very interesting. Very quiet too. Away from the maddening crowds. Lots of Jewish religious things for sale, as well as jewellery. Enjoyed our stay, although would not rush back to Venice. Too busy, with just too many tourists. The shops sel...
