Waking up to boisterous bustling city of Wellington, we got the opportunity to use the only pin accessed showers, the water was really hot and powerful, another good review about this car park themed campsite! We decided to browse around to see what the wellington city had to offer, i saw an excellent silver giant ball as an sculpture which resembled a disco ball, only it was bigger! We passed the library which looked really busy and filled, we tried to gain entrance but unfortunately we were not allowed to do so as there was some appointed study going on. Walking back, I saw Glorida Jeans coffee shop, i practically leapt at the thought of drinking their delicious hot white chocolate drink so i informed Ashley what i just saw and he leapt with excitement too! After being content with our lovely hot drinks, we visited the parliament building to compare to the london building, we were amazed to see just a good sized yet on a bit of smaller side round building looking like the pisa tower but fatter one! We realised that we did not really buy enough souvenirs for the families back home, so we decided to go to an discount outlet with the souvenirs selling up to 70 percent off from the leafets handed out in the information centre, 10 minutes away from the central of Wellington. After having bought our presents, we was disappointed to see that on the sat nav, the drive to Napier would take four hours instead of two hours we originally anticipated but Charlene ploughed on and decided that we would drive there. Arriving in Napier, i thought to myself 'what a version of Brighton/Blackpool!' We found a car park where we couldnt see any signs pointing out 'no overnight camping' and we asked a man who worked as an receptionist at the hotel opposite the road if it was alright to camp overnight and he said yes there was no problem so we parked there and settled down watching Hitch movie with a glass of rose wine which we bought in Australia. Oh my....it was the most tasteful wine i have ever tasted and to be fair it was also the best.
