Well up at 2.20am. Wetted my hair, got my hand luggage all packed up, said goodbye to dad & Shirley then I was off on my way. I hadn't filled up the tank in the hire car all week and the gauge still read that I could do about 70 miles with the fuel I had left. I was going to just fill up in the petrol station just outside the airport. It was a bit touch and go, I was running low on the red by the time I get to the petrol station, to find it wasn't 24hr... So I had to turn around and go I to the outskirts of Aberdeen and fill up there then head back to the airport. I dropped the car off, got my bags out and headed i side the airport. Thankfully it wasn't too busy as it was so early so I basically got straight through. Didn't have to wait long then I was on my flight to Amsterdam. We got a cheese and tomato sandwich on that flight which was pretty horrid, wish I hadn't eaten it!! Again I didn't have to wait long once I got to Amsterdam and we were off again to Dar. I had a rather large African woman sitting next to me taking up half of my space and singing to herself... Grrr I was very close to asking for another seat. The food on the flight was ok. I watched "Brave", which was really good, and "Magic Mike", which was ok. Then I slept on and off and watched an episode if CSI and Location, Location, Location. Time passed reasonably quickly. I got to Dar, and got my visa (took ages but that's normal), got my bags and headed outside where Frank (one if Halliburton's drivers) was waiting for me. Got back to the apartment at midnight
