Yesterday I went for a walk around Darwin and had a coffee as traditional for a Sunday afternoon. I got quite bored and got chatting to a Irish lad called Stephen when some Canadian guy started talking at us about cowboy boots so we b*****ed off the the Globies pub to drink and play some pool. Stephen is a good laugh, been in Australia for a couple years on a sponsored visa but having to go home due to a little mishap he had before Christmas lol. Claudia arrived with a girl called Frederika who she had been travelling with and we played a few games of pool before we got cut off in the Globies! What is the world coming to when you get cut off for being too loud and not drunk! I blame someone else who kept buying the drinks and then said you'll never get drunk if you're drinking like that...yep that was all the encouragement I needed!

Met claudia this morning and went to Charles Darwin National Park which turned out to be much smaller than I thought it would be. It was a rather random start as I did about a 20 point turn in my car to get out of the car park only to be told it was a one way system! The lady was impressed I managed it so let me out the gate! Charles Darwin Park was basically a picnic viewing area and nothing else. Oh well you could still see all of Darwin from the view point which was good. I put an advert out on gumtree earlier for lift shares down south so we'll see what happens. Went for lunch in Shenanigans which was alright but we kept being stared at by a bunch of guys, off putting much lol. Tomorrow will see Claudia and I take on The Cage of Death at Crocosaurus Cove...can't wait!
