• has thus far survived South African roads despite the better efforts of goats, cows, potholes, 1 chicken, pedestrians, schoolchildren, zebra, monkeys, strange passing rules, bad maps, navigators with poor night vision & speed limits that are 'suggestions' (6/4/09)

• is eating lots of curry in durban (7/4/09)

• didn't realise I took THAT many zebra photos... (9/4/09)

• is in Cape Town...2 more days till I'm on my own and off to Rome (13/4/09)

• is in the departure lounge drinking a Hansa...Rome awaits (15/4/09)
