Beautiful pictures for this amazing trip you have done.
Are you back in the US now? How does it feel?

Have just enjoyed spending a pleasant Sunday afternoon touring Hanoi. What an experience!! Where were you when I had to sit in all those boring classes in high school learning bits and pieces of all these places you have been to. I am so happy for you and your adventures. Green as hell, but happy!
You take care, enjoy, I'm still enjoying my Christmas presents from you and getting lots of compliments whenever I wear them. Gotta go and check on Grandma now and hear about todays Movements. I'll tell her about your pix and stories!
Lots of Love,You Go Girl! Aunt Sue

Thanks Sarah - that was a great 20 minutes spent sharing your China experience, whilst feigning interest in work.
I've also been told off by Chinese nationals for referring to Mr 70% right as Mao, instead of Chairman Mao. Just finished an excellent book called Mao's last dancer, which is unlikely to be available in the red zone as it takes a pretty dim view of the Chairman's performance.

They're water buffalo, not cows!

Great to hear that the trip is going well..Seeing your South Africa photos had me thinking about AFG's recent adventure there!
Not sure about some of the foods in China but it sounds like you are giving things a try!
Like Bakes i have only flicked through your reports but it looks like you are having a ball and getting a serious life experience!!
Enjoy your time, travel well and keep safe.
Best wishes

You even got a mention in there POD - see Cape Town, Camps Bay. Unfortunately Cafe Caprice was a bit too cool for my travelling clothes-clad self with parents in tow! Take care and enjoy Cambodia (assuming the GFC hasn't axed those plans there)

Hi Sarah,
Thought you'd like to know we had a cat vs dog breakthrough last night! Al slept quietly under the coffee table while Bangbang slept on my lap while I watched TV - a first!! George and Al are both seem happy and enjoy smothering us while we sleep. George is claiming some territory from the other enormous neighbourhood cats and Al has decided he sees himself more as an inside cat.
Glad to hear that you are well too.
Megan
Awwww thanks for the Al & George update...I miss those guys but am so happy they're in good company. :)
