Surfers Paradise....

Ok...So I arrived fairly early on, checked into my hostel and headed out to explore...ended up on the beach for pretty much all of the day which was nice I guess...but the place? It's ok...!! I guess it's fun if your into Sea World, Theme Parks and if you can afford to shop!! I didn't shop much as my backpack is already FULL!! so I well it was just the beach for me!!

Later in the afternoon I did my grocery shopping and went to the bus station to get a shuttle back to my hostel.

I met a canadian guy here called James, he was cool and also bored in Surfers!! We both wanted to leave so headed back to the hostel and I changed my stay there from 3 nights down to just the one!

I showered, changed and I made my beans on toast and James ate his bowl of lettuce (ok well maybe a bit more but it was a lot of lettuce!!)

That evening we both sat and listened to a nice lady who could talk...and talk...and talk!! Then decided we had to get away from her...bless

The night generally consisted of a few drinks, a catch up on the rugby and wine! I insisted James had to try weetabix after he was giving me grief about eating it...hmmm not sure he was impressed but it amused me slightly...

After a bit of wine we got talking to an old guy in the kitchen who was slightly crazy and was telling us the world was going to end bla bla bla! But he was highly amusing!!

Then it was bed and up early for our journey further up the coast...

Next stop Brisbane...
