So OZ hey?! I flew from Christchurch with Emirates and it was quite a fun flight, the french girl next to me was lovely so we chatted etc as girls do and watched a film and had a decent meal!! I landed into Sydney and took the train to my hostel, checked in and went to meet Richard! A friend from school who I found out was in Syndey just before I boarded my flight! So random but pretty cool! We met at my hostel and headed to a bar for a few beers. Fortunately ...

The day after Aiden had left I was still feeling rather poo! I took an early bus to Queenstown which took nearly all day and checked into Nomads. I knew a few people there so arranged to meet them the next day. I had some good news and was able to take an early flight to Sydney! which meant I only had a one full day in Queenstown but I didn't mind as I couldn't wait to get to Australia! I met up with Kim and Rick and one of their friends and we all went luging!...

Keeping this short and sweet! It was a horrible day!!! Cried for most of it...probably all of it!! Next stop...Queenstown!

After Franz Josef we hadn't really planned a route but we woke up, had dippy eggs for breakfast and set off on the road. We headed up the west coast to Greymouth where we thought we might stay but it was a pretty dull day and well it didn't look all that great when we got there so we took a look at the map and decided because it was a rather crap day, we would head over and make the long journey to Hanmer Springs...so pleased we made that decision! We got there...

The drive from Queenstown was fairly long but we made plenty of stops and arrived into Franz Josef late afternoon. The weather was bleak for most of the journey but it seemed to take up once we arrived! We called in at a small supermarket to find something for dinner and we decided we would cook carbonara again (It was pretty awesome when we had it the first time, hehe) Then we headed to a campsite which was really nice, slightly out of town but really peaceful...
