We had breakfast & finished packing up ready for our train, we almost missed it because we thought we got back on the train where we had got off, I rushed round to check & we had to walk through the market to get to the actual station where the train was waiting we didn’t even know that existed ha! We had front facing seats this time with a fabulous view yet again, a lovely couple sat opposite us they were from Chile. They recommended some places to go & were really friendly even though there English was so limited! We got off the train at Ollantaytambo & managed to get a space in a shuttle bus back to Cusco it only cost 8 soles each which is not even £2 for an hour & a half journey! We got dropped in the centre & did a bit of souvenir shopping & had some lunch before heading to the airport for our flight! We got a taxi to the airport & once we had checked our bags in Kurt soon found a bar with champions league final on, we managed to watch most of it before we went through to board the plane! The flight was quick it was just over an hour. We got an Uber to our hotel which was in miraflores this time, it was a Casino hotel and our room was the largest room we have ever had! It was like a penthouse it had two floors, two bedrooms, three bathrooms & a huge balcony! Such a shame because we didn’t have anytime to chill & enjoy it! We freshened up & went down to the casino for a nosey, we set ourselves a limit so we wouldn’t get silly! We got free welcome drinks at the bar & met a lovely couple from Australia, we sat with them & swapped stories about travelling & down under we were meant to be having food but the drinks flowed instead! We went into the casino after & I did pretty well winning on the slot machines but didn’t have a clue what I was doing as it was all in Spanish, whilst playing drinks were included so we didn’t spend anything! On the roulette my lucky black 11 came in & we decided to walk out better off whilst we were winning. We tried to order room service when we got back to the room but they couldn’t understand any English or our accents, so we called it a night instead & I had a bubble bath for the first time in months, it was great it was a jacuzzi bath & was just what I needed after our trekking in Peru even if it was at 1am in the morning
