After breakfast we got a taxi into the Miraflores area of the city, it was pretty grey & gloomy so the city didn’t look its best, the cliffs dropped down to the sea where there were some big waves & lots of surfers! We walked along the front through a few parks then into the main central area where there were street artists & bands playing, it seemed quite a nice area but we were out of season so expect it to be more bustling & scenic in the summer months! The traffic was bad again the taxi journey back to the hotel was madness again! We went to an American diner near the hotel for food then back to pack up the rucksacks again ready for our flight to Cusco tomorrow.
