We had a great breakfast in the hotel then set out exploring the city, We both got photo opportunities with the Peruvian ladies & the alpacas, Kurts was hilarious they pulled him in for a picture & shoved a baby lamb on his knee which had a bonnet on its head, so funny! We walked up through the city to the San Cristobal church which had a fabulous view over the historical plaza & the backdrop of the city. We made our way down to the plaza via lots of winding cobbled streets & historic buildings, the architecture was beautiful on every corner there was something to see. We had lunch & a few beers sat in the sunshine before walking to the back of the city to a cocktail bar which had panoramic views over the whole city! We ordered pina colada’s which came in gold pineapple cocktail jugs which was hilarious kurt looked well gay ha! It was really fresh but we had missed happy hour so it was quite expensive but the view was worth it! We got back to the hotel & decided to eat at the restaurant we had a three course meal as there was an offer on, the soup we ordered for starters was the best I’ve ever had... creamy Spinach soup wow! We got back to the room & packed up ready for our train to Machu Picchu tomorrow we were both really excited.
