Hey guys,

So after we left Lunag prabang , we headed for Vietiane, which is the capital of Laos. Although no where in Laos is actually that busy, just absolutely beautiful. Vietiane, is situated along the mekong river,  and has beautiful views back into thailand !

Whilst we were there, we visited a gym with a swimming pool , sauna and free massage, enterance cost 2.50 so we had a lovely day there. We also visited some of the local wats, and visted a restaurant run by street kids, they are taught hospitality skills there so they can go on and earn a good living in other hotels and restaurants, It was actually some opf the best food i have tasted !

After Vietiane, we headed for our last stop in laos at Hin boun, which is up near the border. Here we stayed in a local village at our home stay !

Although we felt like we were intruding slightly it was a great experience and nice to see all the children and animals . We also went out on the river on a b52 boats which are boats made out of the shell of the b52 bombs !

The next day we crossed the border into Vietnam and spent a night on a boat in Halong bay, after a long bus ride from laos !. Again gorgoue scenary ad we visited some amazing caves there, and then went swimming, but we had  to be careful as we saw lots of jelly fish that needed to be avoided when we were jumping off the top of the boat ( very high up ) !

The next day we headed to Hanoi , where we are now, it is alo busier in Vietnam than laos alot more to see, but i did really appreciate the relaxation of Laos!

Yesterday we spent seeing most of te sights around the lake in Hnaoi, including a temple ,w ith a massive turtle in it !

Today we went to see the the morseleum at hoi chi minh ! tis was a bit eerie but nice to see, i couldnt make out whether it was a real body or one from a wax museum ! but from the heavily armourd guards and strict security, i thought it must be real.
