hi Sarah, we've been following your adventure with great intrest, the photo's are fabulous. We've just returned from our weekend get together with your mom & dad, elinor,dan,tom,catherine,anna and gareth. We all had a great time with too much to eat and drink as usual.The weather wasn't that good but that really didmn't matter. But we all missed our Sarah . Glad to hear you all had such a good time, sorry i couldnt get to a phone to call you, it can be quite a mission sometimes !  I am sad i missed it i would have loved to have been there ! Same again next year i take it ? I am having a great time on the trip,will put some photos up soon but we just seem to be so busy on this tour, always something new to see !

hey catherine, successfully completed the inca trail , and have now just finished my jungle experience ! flying to sydney tomorrow altho it takes a few days ! for me to get there. i bet you ae excited about nz when do you go ? take care lots of love sarah xx

Like the new photo's. What was the temperature at Lake Titicaca and Machu Pichu? So Ian knows what to pack!

hey, well if i an is doing the inca trail he will need good waterproofs, as i got drenched, probably a raincoat waterproof trousers and a poncho, then for night time it can go down to as far as zero in the night, so warm jumpers (one for the day one for the night ), thermal under trousers, depending on how much he feels the cold, and then good socks for walking ummm not sure what else, he will only be allowed to give the porters 7 kilos to carry on the  inca trail, but we all took a decent thermal mattress we hired from cusco ,and then my own sleeping bag ! then obv you can carry the rest yourselves in your day pack. the weather was pretty simialr on the reed islands on the lake. i would just say take layers and some trousers you can unzip if possible as when the sun comes out it can be really hot because you are so high up !
