Today I took the train out to Haslemere to go and visit my old friend from ISB days Andrew Hawker! Him and his fiancé Ruth work out on an Estate that has a massive garden and some paddocks with horses! I went for a walk around the gardens while Andrew and Ruth finished work. They were very pretty and it was nice to be out in nature!
Once they finished work we headed out on a little tiki tour of the area, and then went for dinner, which was really good! I had a courgette, pea, and parmesan risotto, and we shared a strawberry meringue "mess" for desert! Good company + good food = a good night! They dropped me off at the train station and I caught the next train back to London. It's too bad I don't have more time to hang out with them more.
