When arriving at our camp site a few hours ago we were not expecting to be across the road from this famous stadium. For the next 2 days we will be spending most of the time in and around the centre of San Francisco.

This is probably as near as I will ever be to playing a shot on the famous Pebble Beach course. It is now 2 months since I played a golf shot !!!!

Instead of our planned walk round a peninsular we decided to do the 17 mile Pebble Beach drive. A good choice. There are at least 6 golf courses, very impressive housing, great coastline and woodland. This is a 250 old tree and used on the logo of Pebble Beach Golf Course.
