I guess most of you know San Francisco had a major earthquake which destroyed much of the city. Here this church was reconstructed with parts of other buildings. There was also a quake in the 1980's but not as severe.

This is the south entrance to Chinatown. It is not good if you are bitten when you put your hand in here.

Well we have had a day in San Francisco and we will have another one tomorrow. We had two walking tours this morning one round Chinatown and the other the North Shore area. Both were very informative. At Union Square here they put up these hearts for artists to paint then replace them every 6 months.

This would have been an ideal school for me as long as there was plenty of custard !!!!
