Here is Sarah in the lava tube. This forms within a lava flow when the outside solidifies and the centre is still molten and runs through it.

There are 5 main volcanoes on Big Island. Mauna Loa the biggest, Mauna Kea the highest above sea level and this is the crater of Kilauea which is currently the most active.

Here we are at our first meal on Hawaii. The sea was crashing on the rocks behind us. Guess what ? It is another hot sunny day today. We now have only four weeks until we are back with you in the UK but plenty left to do.
