This is the other major bridge at San Francisco. It suffered earthquake damage in 1989 and is bing repaired. Associated with this is the installation of these lights.

This is a view on our way across the bridge. We took our time walking over as we were watching shipping passing underneath and both sharks and seals.

Yesterday we had our hop on, hop off trip round San Francisco. We had a walk through one of the larger parks then on to the Bridge.
Here we are about to set off walking across.
This morning whilst on WiFi it is weak so I am having difficulty loading photos so the rest of the Bridge story will come later.

Whilst a very grim place to be I think the cells are slightly better than the ones we saw at Fremantle.

Here we are starting the afternoon on a ferry across the Bay to Alcatraz.
This is a must if you are here and we were not disappointed.
It completes a story which you know a bit of. The visit was well done. We went round the prison with commentary through headphones and adjust to go a your own pace.
