Hi everyone!
What an amazing week! Feel like I could write a book about what we've seen and done already but better try and keep this brief! In Mumbai at the moment, arrived this morning after a 24 hr train journey from Agra which was special! It wasnt all that bad tho, quite an experience and some business men kept buying us snacks so I think we might look like skanky travellers already! We flew to Delhi which was just unlike anything i've ever seen before! The roads were so crazy and hectic and people everywhere trying to sell you things and get you in there shops. We had a very crazy autorickshaw journey where the driver got lost and turned round in a very busy one way street, was fun tho! We organised a tour from Delhi and had a driver to take us to Jaipur, Ranthambhore and Agra which was pretty cool as im sure we saw much more than we would have if we'd have done it on our own. The driver was pretty cool too, Sanj! He looked after us a bit, which was nice as we get constantly stared at! People keep wanting our photos which is just a bit strange, especially at places like the Taj Mahal! Anyway, Jaipur was lovely, I really like the Palace of Winds where the royal ladies used to go to watch down on the streets. I also had my first barter at a market in Jaipur which was fun! After Jaipur we went to Ranthambhore National Park where we saw a tiger. It was so beautiful! We also saw crocodiles, deer, wild boar, kingfisher and loads of other stuff, the park itself was really stunning too! After the tiger safari we went to Ranthambhore fort with some Italian guys from our hotel and their driver. Their driver was really cool and came around the fort with us telling us all about Indias culture and religions. He took us in the ganesh temple and we saw how people worshiped offering insence and sweets. That was amazing as there is no way it is someting we could have done on our own. On Wednesday we went to Agra where we saw the Taj Mahal. It really is that beautiful! I cant do it justice so wont try to describe it but it really is breathtaking. India is just so diverse I love it! Cant believe how different it is from one place to the next! Gonna have a proper look round Mumbai tomora and then we are going to Goa to chill on the beach for a few days before heading to Hampi, Kerala and finally Chennai for our flight to Bankok. Having the most amazing time and cant wait to tell everyone about it!
love love love!
