Hi! Sorry, not being very good at keeping this up to date am I?! Got to Hampi 2 days ago, had to practically be dragged out of Goa tho! I completely loved it! A perfect little paradise, although completely lazy of me as it was so not like the rest of India. Feasted on fresh seafood, and I didnt feel remotely guilty for getting a bit drunk (what can I say, you can take the girl out of Mexborough.....). Stayed at Palolem beach in a little beach hut, ended up staying for 5 days before I was dragged away! Just stayed on the beach, went for walks, swam in the sea and watched the most beautiful pink sunsets (ocassionally with the most beautiful Australian guy ((I may have had a bit of a romance!)). Randomly met the dude who took us to Bollywood at a party and we got chatting with a really cool group of people, stayed up til 5, were dancing on the beach in moonlight to the most wierd trance music, then we went for a midnight swim and loads of fireworks were going off! It was all very random, how I like it! Ended up chatting and walking on the beach for hours. I even got took for dinner by my beautiful man...very romantic (dont worry, im well aware this is not real life!) Anyway, had to leave as there is so much more exploring to be done. Hampi is really cool. The landscape is unlike anything Ive seen before, huge boulders and the river, and the most amazing ruins everywhere. Some of the temples are pretty cool, the work that must have gone into them is amazing. Went for a walk thrrough banana platations today, and across the rocks to somel waterfalls and had a swim in a lake, was lovely. Found a really cool little place with the most amazing views (and a swing!) so stopped for a chai before going for an Ayurvedic massage which was so relaxing.
