It is definitely winter here...I have a cold. And I was doing so well since I haven't been working in the daycare and around heaps of kids, but I'm sick anyway. Joanna and I went to the IR office to get some brochures for things to do on the coast. We then went to the library, she had to finish an assignment and I wanted to research a few things. I didn't last long before I got tired and left to take a nap before the BBQ and to stay rested so I don't get sick...

It was Linda's birthday on Friday and when I talked to Isabell on Thursday night after getting back from the Tav she invited me over to Varsity for brunch to celebrate her birthday. I went over to Varsity at 10:30 and the rest of the girls were already there preparing. There was heaps of food there and it all looked delicious. Linda came a few minutes later and she was surprised. We had a huge feast of pancakes, yoghurt and muesli, fruit, breads, meat and veg...

Beach day! We had to take the 9:40 bus to Mooloolaba because the next one was just before noon. The beach was almost empty when we got there and the water was extremely calm, there were barely any waves and they were barely breaking. The temperature was only 22C (about 72F) and the water is only 20C (68F) according to a display board by the lifeguard. It was nice to get up and know that I don't have to study today or for at least another week! Although it would be wonderful if I could just get my other exam over with so I don't have to worry about it later. I went to the Uni to do a few things and when I came back, I called Joanna to see how her test went. We decided earlier in the week that since she doesn't have another exam until the 13th and me on the 15th we want to do lots of things this coming week. ...

I can't believe it is June already! Time has gone soooo fast it is ridiculous. The start of exams means that most people in UniCentral will be starting to go home soon and that is very sad. By the time I got up, ready and ate breakfast I didn't feel like studying much so I watched Ellen instead to relax before my exam at 2pm. Exams are done heaps different here. It is more serious and professional. Every lecture takes the exam at the same time in an auditor...
