We made it up into the mountains to a town called Boquete. The bad news is that it hasn't stopped raining since Monday which is getting very tedious and annoying! We can't actually do anything because all the activities are outdoorsy type ones which can't be done in torrential downpours. Hello everyone. Thank you all for the lovely birthday messages. I had a great birthday, we went on an all day snorkelling trip and saw dolphins as well as loads of big fish, sea cucumbers and starfish. Today we made it to the island archipelago of Bocas del Toro on the Caribbean coast near to Costa Rica. After another early start (up at 5.30!) and a flight in the smallest plane ever (well almost...it was a Twin Otter 300 fact fans and seated 18 whole people!) we arrived in tropical paradise. Well...Panama City is as much of a dump as we thought it would be! It is really hot though. Since arriving we have visited the old town (Casco Viejo) and been on a ferry to Taboga, a (supposed) tropical paradise island not too far from Panama City. There wasn´t really much else to do.
