Well...Panama City is as much of a dump as we thought it would be! It is really hot though. Since arriving we have visited the old town (Casco Viejo) and been on a ferry to Taboga, a (supposed) tropical paradise island not too far from Panama City. There wasn´t really much else to do. We met up with Thierry at the hostel. It was really good to see him until he reminded me how infuriating he is he he! Today we cruised the Panama Canal with a load of ancient American ghastlies. We we the youngest on the boat by a good 20 years at least! It was a really great day starting at 6.15 in the morning and getting back to the hostel at 10pm! It was really fascinating to be in the locks with some absolutely enormous cargo ships, well worth the money! That´s about it from Panama City!
