We made it up into the mountains to a town called Boquete. The bad news is that it hasn't stopped raining since Monday which is getting very tedious and annoying! We can't actually do anything because all the activities are outdoorsy type ones which can't be done in torrential downpours. Tonight we're braving going to the hotsprings for a couple of hours and then going to a chicken wings party at our hostel (hmmm not sure about that one but it includes dinner so it's all good!). The weather forecast looks like it might clear up a bit after Sunday so we're keeping our fingers crossed! We have also lived through an earthquake, well a tremor really, Susie and Thierry slept through it but I felt it, it was very exciting! Tomorrow we are heading to Costa Rica for white water rafting (will be mental with all the rain we've been having) and back to the beach for a couple of days. We are really hoping for a little sunshine! Hopefully then we'll have some more interesting news to update you with instead of just spending the days eating cake and drinking coffee, waiting for the rain to end! xxx
