The past couple of days have been pretty chilled. Pai is basically hippy central! The town is so cool, they have vintage shops everywhere and it's such a relaxed vibe compared to the hustle and bustle of the bigger cities. This morning we checked out the 'secret' hot springs. So, whilst on our trek, we met two girls from the US, Anna and Carolyn. They convinced us to ride scooters with them to Pai the next day! ( I say scooters, Samuel managed to convince me to let him splash out and get a proper bike!) It was incredible... Turns out I'm a pro at riding a scooter ;) We eventually set off about 11am. The Jungle Trek - be prepared it's a long one! We were picked up from our guesthouse around 9am in basically a pick up truck with benches in the back and a little roof on top- they're everywhere in the north! The sleeper train was a success, 15hrs hours went so quick, unlike our flights out to Asia! You'll see in the pics exactly what it looked like so no point boring you with too many details. We arrived in Chiang Mai at 10am as scheduled and our transfer to our guesthouse awaited us. DAY 1 So after nearly 27 hrs of travel we landed in Bangkok at 3am, checked in and hit the sack! We woke about 10 am, quick spruce up and headed out.
