So here goes for the first instalment of the next chapter of my life. I'm currently in the airport waiting for a flight to Beijing to start a new teaching job. Its a huge step since I'm used to floating around the oceans on a ship so being land based will be a whole new experience for me.
As I'm waiting for my aeroplane I am filled with so many emotions; fear, sadness, excitement, euphoria there are way to many.
Well I had a little rave on the train on the way down and I'm sure the other passengers thought it was all very strange behaviour especially for someone who hasn't even had a beverage yet.
I will keep this updated as much as I can and I promise that I will experience as much as I can whilst I'm out in China. For any of you that read this and know me feel free to leave messages and posts and remember I have a lovely apartment so if you're up for an adventure feel free to stop in. By the way a visa is needed to come to china and never eat yellow snow
