Arrived in Sydney at 7am this morning but was up at 6am to watch the sail in which was pretty amazing. The ship docked in between the bridge and the Opera house so some good photos to upload when i have time.

Got off the ship at 8.15 and headed over to Manly Beach which is one of the best beaches i have ever been too. Kids were having their PE lessons down there which is pretty cool. Watched plenty of surfers, wanted to get involved but there was nowhere to rent a board and it was rather messy out there too. Stayed on the beach until 12 before heading back into the city centre.

Went to Hard rock cafe for lunch, then hopped on the monorail round to Darling Harbour.

Before we got to Hard Rock the bus driver dropped us in Kings Cross whcih is not one of the best areas of Stdney as it is full of hookers and strip joints and strip shows. As if he just left us there telling us that was where Hard Rock was.

After seeing Darling Harbour, walked back to the ship and went round to the Opera House for a few photos and a spot of shopping.

I can understand why people love it out here as the way of life is so much better than at home. Its really worth considering a move here for sure in 18months time.
