Well, the first 2 weeks are over already. Thought I'd let people know what I've been up to so far...

Started off with 5 nights in Koh Samui, which were classic beach holiday days. Lazing in the sun, drinking buckets and swimming in the sea.

From there we headed to Koh Phanang for the full moon party. A massive party on the beach with skipping ropes of fire (didn't trust myself on those) and the infamous buckets of a spirit (we'd learnt to avoid Samsong the Thai rum), coke and red bull. We had a couple of days on Phanang as we were staying at a lovely bay with a great beach.

Then it was Koh Tao, where Jim, Rich and I completed our PADI open water diving courses. Jim and I also went on a night dive which I'd definitely recommend. It's an awesome experience and although we didn't see the stingrays we were hoping to, diving in pitch black is pretty spooky!

Its the final 5 days for Tom, Jim and Rich, we're currently in Phi Phi to do a bit more diving and maybe see the beach where "The Beach" was filmed.

Overall we've been pretty lucky with the weather although we've been caught out by torrential rain a few times in the last couple of days. It's constantly high 20s low 30s so its never too cold you'll be glad to hear ;-)

Not many pictures so far, hope to have some for the next blog. When the lads head home next stop for me will be Bangkok and Chiangmai.
