Not a massive amount to report on as I was only here for a couple of days before my flight to Oz.

I had a day of flights to get here, one from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City and then another to Singapore from there. There was a 6 hour gap between my two flights so I was pretty tired by the time I made it to Singapore.

I took the equivalent of the tube from the airport to my hostel (the first time I'd booked some accommodation in advance for quite a while!). There was a Burger King on the way so had my first western fast food for 2 months! Then just called it a night in the hostel for my first night.

Woke up the next morning and Sarah and Georgia had survived the mission of a journey from Thailand to Singapore by bus - I admire them for completing it! We got showered etc and went for a wander around the city. We saw the infamous Raffles hotel and the equivalent of the London Eye. It was strange to be in a city where traffic seemed organised, people were polite and it was an amazingly clean city! It was Sarah's birthday so we headed out for dinner and ate pizza at an Italian on the waterfront, perfect! I headed out for a beer with some people from the hostel but it was a bit of a shock seeing the prices after the previous 2 months!

The next day we just chilled in the hostel before heading off to the airport. I went along with the girls and they had a slightly earlier flight. We got there at 4pm and their flight had been delayed until 4am. Mine was also delayed until 1am so we had quite a bit of time to kill in the airport! Still there are much worse airports to have to spend 8 hours and we ended up having a good laugh and met a couple of people at the same time so all good!
