Steve and I were just discussing what to write in our blog today.
Our suggestions were
1. Pretending to throw and catch a ball to each other in the sea. We do not have a ball. Some of our catches were amazing.
2. Walking along the beach to Cierans where we used to stay and being over it. Happy with where we are. That was a feel good moment ( but so was catching the ball)
3. The tide coming in quickly and Steve causing panic by suggesting our flip flops might be washed away as we had left them at our sunloungers. (that one is like a SUN newspaper headline). Sea nowhere near our sunloungers!
4. We sent in more washing today which is always exciting to get back!. Maybe we will be missing something or even gain something that's not ours! That would be a good headline!

Erm! Maybe something will happen later!! Not that we are in anyway unhappy! Very settled! We will just watch a video of Eli doing an amazing save himself on a tumble video 20 more times!!

So the tide went out far enough for us to access the island at the end of Palolem beach! We have always wanted to do this and this year is the first time the tide has been low enough for us to feel brave and wade through the strong current of the river. Actually thats me. Steve feels confident in his ability to wade through anything..cow pats, rivers etc.  Mind you we dares only take a few photos, look around and get back. Because we are king and queen of disaster management we felt like removing the risk today. An interesting time spent getting a selfie of us two together but really our day was made. New territory discovered, explored and safely returned!
