A tough morning searching for an ATM. There were a few ATM signs in Windows but Steve said he was in his ATM box. What he knew was a cubicle with the said machine in there and that's what we were looking for.
So we walk for far too long and finally I see a hairdressers which allows him to pack away the ATM box and remember the I want a beard trim and haircut box! I then set off with his wallet and card to the ATM in a tut tut. The first ATM didn't work and the second refused to let me have any cash. Bearing in mind it was around 30 degrees my journey and attempts at the bank were awful! I returned to Steve feeling cross and bothered to find his hair looking nice, him unable to pay ( I had his wallet) AND he had trodden in a cow pat puddle in his flip flops. This paled my efforts into nothing! I found this a bit gross and a bit hilarious but definitely more gross!
Cleaning it off was a bigger job than you can imagine but we got there and spent the rest of our money at a nice vegan and gluten free cafe.
After which we went into one of the said advertised ATM shop and got the money we needed in a lovely sandleless/ flip flop free environment.
We had a long talk about listening actively and allowing some out of the box thinking.
Having got back to the beach we got on with the most important jobs of sunbathing, swimming and more sunbathing, more eating, more sleeping and cool showers to make the day perfect finishing with fresh seabass and rice salad. And maybe..one too many cocktails again.
Plus tonight I whooped Steve at Rummy.
