Day 9 - Meant a big day of activities planned. Starting with zip lining. All but one in the group did it so it was a lot of fun. There were 9 zip lines and two of them were superman ones. The longest zip line was 1590m which is longest zip line in Latin America. At the very end we had the option to do the mega tarzan swing which everyone but Mel and Tom did. Day 8 - Travel day - left La Fortuna and travelled to Monteverde. Monteverde is the highest point in Costa Rica and so it's a fair bit cooler as its in the hills and amongst the jungle. It's a bit of a touristy town but it's very cute. I liked Monteverde it had a lot to offer. We arrived at around lunch time and so the immediate plan was to get some lunch. Day 7 - Adventure day!! I had an early start as I was going Canyoneering in the morning and paddle boarding in the afternoon. I did canyoneering with two other people from our group and then lots of other tourists. The Canyoneering was very different to the canyoneering we did in Switzerland. Day 6 - Early start for the first day of our tour and it was agreed over dinner and drinks that we would all do white water rafting - a fun activity to do all together.
