Thursday Departure Day...
Not a whole lot to report for today. We had breakfast at our Le Montrose hotel with the little Indian man excited to see our return for breakfast. He was very nice. But to hear an indian say 'cheers man' echoing mick i couldnt help but giggle! There wasn't too many people in the restaurant so I think he was grateful to have something to do.
We arranged a taxi to take us to the airport. It was only 11.30 am and our flight wasn't until 10pm so we needed to find somewhere to store our luggage. Hmmmm I asked the taxi driver and he was unsure what we could do so he came up with this crazy plan (not sure of his nationality) for us to put our bags at the renaissance hotel and come back to pick them up later... Well I know that's possible at the hotel you just paid to stay at but not really a hotel you just show up and hand your bags to the door man! We couldn't believe it - we were dropped off in a taxi, we took our bags inside handed them over & were given the tag to retrieve on our return. Away we went to the shopping centre!
When we returned to pick up our bags we walked in like we owned the place. I'll get my bags please. Hehehe. Much respect to the employees at the airport renaissance they were very courteous and accommodating even helped us to the airport shuttle that runs by the airport.
We have survived the plane ride back to Aussieland and should be home in a few hours from Sydney.
