Wednesday - We arrived to our hotel at around 1am which would have been 4am in New York! We were shattered. But glad that flight was over.
Devastated to find or not find I suppose but I left my phone on the shuttle on the way to the airport in New York. I've tried to follow it up but Supershuttle don't seem to be bothered with helping. Thank gosh I had most of the photos saved onto my ipad via streamed photos but still a very sad loss :(
During the day on Wednesday we did the stars tour as we were staying in west hollywood. Brandon Brown our tour guide was fun and had a few good jokes up his sleeve. He told us his claim to fame was his film Disco 9000 which I am still yet to google.
We enjoyed the tour checking out the homes of all the celebrities some dead >>(michael jackson) moved on or still residing in the houses and/or clubs. It was great and there has to be some real celebs coz wow we saw some niceeeeee cars! Lots of Porche, Ferrari, Bentley & Bugatti. We even saw a chrome painted Lamborghini from afar. We were impressed.
We were chauffeured up and down Rodeo drive to see the shops & where the celebs hangout for lunch.
We checked out the big old Hollwood sign which we were informed is made from 'Australian Steel' interesting fun fact. Turns out the sign was very deteriorated but restored in the 70's where the letters were sponsored by 9 celebs such as Alice Cooper paying $27000 each to restore the sign.
In the evening we headed down to sunset blvd for some dinner and were treated to a great meal at the Rainbow bar & grill. It felt like we were sitting amongst famous people but we have no idea who they were. When we were leaving we noticed some photos on the wall of the celebs who have appeared in the bar. It was nice to see Mr Big from Sex & the City on the wall. He was about the only one I can remember.
We took a walk down the Sunset strip hearing the rock & roll music of the clubs before retiring home.
