We got to La Paz at about half fourish after our 3 hour minibus ride from Copacabana. Knowing La Paz we walked from the bus stop to Loki hostel, checked in and hit the bar. It was pretty dead so we just got a few beers and a bite to eat before heading up for a shower. We went back down to the bar as it was filling up for happy hour. RUM TIME before hitting Wildrover. Our past experience had told us wildrover had a bit more crack about it and it didn't disappoint....

The beds in Loki hostel are possible the comfortablist we've had in south America. The widest too so a lay in was inevitable. So we wake up relatively early and do the standard walk about and explore mission that we usually do in every new city. By this time thru the trip I'm pretty much done with taking pictures of churches and nice buildings so the exploring doesn't last long. La Paz is a pretty gritty city, which suits us down as it's cheap, plus for the first time it feels like real South America.
