Carlin, also teaching with me and Emma in Chiba 10 years ago, popped over from London. As with Emma and Yoshi, it was great seeing him again!  We looked round the fairly newly developed Oxford Castle area and inside the Malmaison hotel, which used to be the city prison.  I walked home via the river.
