Memphis was almost as awesome as Nashville. On the way, we stopped at a little bbq shack which is pretty famous in Tennessee and I had a jumbo bbq sandwich was basically bbq pulled pork in soft bread with bbq sauce and it was so good! NASHVILLE! My favourite place so far, it was like walking into a Wild West film! Proper country and western with every other shop being a cowboy boot shop and inbetween those was just saloons selling liquor and each with a live musician or band. The whole city is based on country music and most of the best country artists have come from there or made it big there. Today was a big driving day to Appalachian mountains. We drove a few hours and arrived to have a look at the Appalachian trail - a famous walking path that is about 2000 miles long through the mountains.
