Our first camp fire with a guitar and S'mores!

My long anticipated wait was over this evening when Tyler invited me to Walmart with him and Ayla! It's 24 hours so we left camp about 10pm and it was so funny to be in such an iconic American shop. It was exactly as I expected it would be and was full of weirdos, morbidly obese people and obnoxious Americans! I bought way to many bizarre snacks that I wanted to try because they are only in America!

As its intersession and the kids have gone home before new kids arrive on Tuesday, apparently it's tradition for Michael to have a house party. Pretty much everyone went - except leadership and it was good fun. He has a lovely big American house just down the road from camp where he grew up and again, I felt like I was in a movie! Independence Day! On July 3rd (because the Jews have to do some weird sports contest on the 4th) we had a carnival for the kids and rented out bouncy castles, slip and slides and a water twister as well as a cotton candy machine and snow cones for everyone.

This morning I worked on editing the video and filming. This afternoon I had booked off with Heidi (the photographer) who said we could spend the afternoon together. It was so nice to get off campus and away from camp. First, we went to the "movie theatre" to see Jurassic world in 3D - $7.50!!!
