Today we travelled to Meersburg via Neuschwanstein castle. Never have I seen such a tourist attraction. We were advised to get there early, but of course we took no notice and arrived to a packed car park and 25 buses. The gate men continued to take money regardless of how many spaces were free. To buy a ticket for the tour was signed as a twenty inute wait. The tours currently being filled were for 15.40. It was only 12 o'clock!!!!! Tourists are not allowed in the casted without a guide. 25 per tour each tour takes 35 minutes.

We decided we only wanted to see the outside anyway.

The queues for a ride up the hill was lnger than the queues to the tickets so we decided to walk. It is a long steep climb, but luckily there are souviner stores and food venders all the way to the top top to help ease the pain.

We continued on to Meersburg. Our hotel is a beautiful building right on the water. The restaurant and bar is on the waterfront. Such a tough life.
