Up very early. Grand Final starts at 5:30am - London Time. Our fancy hotel didn't have ESPN. We had to go to the Carlsberg Bar at the Casino to see the game. We arrived, very optimistic only to sit with the drunks who had been there since yesterday.
It started bad and very quickly got worse. We didn't stay till the end. That's all that needs to be said.
Westminster Bridge at 7am on a Saturday morning- empty. We didn't realise how peaceful and how beautiful it was until we tried to cross it at 2pm on our way to the theatre.
Seeing the Phantom at Her Majesty's theatre was also one of those things I will always remember. I always associate London with the theatre, and to see one of the classics was awesome.
After the show we wandered the streets, counting down the names from the Monopoly Board. We ran into a NFL display in either Regent or Oxford Street.
The long day seemed to catch us both and a flu or depression over football took us and our last night in London ended with any early night.
