Very sad to leave Sankt Goar. What a wonderful place to base ourselves in for 5 amazing days!!!

On to the next adventure.... Leaving Germany we travelled into Belgium and Bruges. The motorway was easy navigation....says I...Dave did the driving. However, getting around Brussels was an experience. More cars than I've ever seen in my life, all having a give way rule that we didn't know about!!!

Once in Bruges the GPS couldn't cope...skinny one way roads with many of them closed for repair. We ended up parking the car and walking before somebody got hurt. Once we got to the hotel the man gave us the tips on getting back to the carpark unharmed and all was well.

The Hotel was a lovely old building - of course no lift and crazy spiral stairs.

Desperate for a beer be headed for the closest venue. Stan was in his element - Leffe as the local brew and as usual an awesome variety of food.

We made a quick trip to the Bruges Old Town Markt Platz, dodging the many, many cyclists.
